Memorize Using Flash Cards
Flash cards are the easiest way to memorize anything.
Do you want to read aloud poems, parts in plays,
sales speeches, and political speeches from memory?
The main focus of our techniques involves learning text from on-screen or printed
flash cards and being able to orate from memory.
Use Site for Practicing Scripts
Through practice you gain the skill to memorize anything quickly. There are no tricks.
It is hard work but over time memorization gets easier. The payback is phenomenal.
You gain new and profound knowledge, confidence in your abilities, and poise as a public speaker.
Memory Sound Bites
Children (8-9) memorize faster than adults.
Association is the key to memorization.
Memorize a speech by creating a key thought for each line.
Exercises in memorizing and reciting poetry and passages of prose
have educational value.
Greeks discovered that words and sounds—
and the rhythmic patterns by which they were bound together in poetry—
awakened the mind and shaped character.
Edgar Allan Poe said that poetry is 'the rhythmical creation of beauty.'

How the Site Works
We have sample text to get you started in
Public Documents.
For example, here is the beginning of Shakespeare's Sonnet 18:
Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?
Thou art more lovely and more temperate.

While on the site you will be shown the text as flash cards:
Speak the text from the flash card and
click a button to display the next card in sequence. You can go forward and backward in the deck
to practice sections you are weak in.
If you are new to the site we have some helpful hints on our
Site Usage page to get you started.
Create Your Own Scripts
Over time you can supply your
own scripts and start memorizing what is important to you.
We take your scripts and through our
online algorithms parse the text into manageable segments or flash cards.
The text is encrypted for your privacy,
saved securely and available for you the next time you logon.
You control the parsing of the script and you can do it as many times as you like.
Printing the Script
An option is to print the flash cards on card stock.
The flash cards you see on the screen are printed so you can take the script with you anywhere.
We currently support Avery 5388 (3"x5"), 5389 (4"x6"), and 8387 (4.25" x 5.5") card stocks.
Using one of these card formats, you can also print on standard paper and
cut the cards to the correct size.
Backing up the Script
You can also download the parsed (edited) script to your own computer.
